# Qatar & Dubai 5 Dirhams 1969 (AH1389)
This bronze 5 Dirhams coin was struck in 1969 during the Qatar & Dubai emirate period, prior to the unification that created the United Arab Emirates in 1971. The obverse features a standing gazelle, while the reverse displays the denomination and inscriptions in Arabic. The coin is composed entirely of bronze and represents an important transitional piece of Gulf Arabian coinage history.
