# Saudi Arabia Hejaz & Nejd ½ Ghirsh AH1346 (1927)
This copper-nickel coin was struck during the reign of King Ibn Saud and represents the currency of the unified Saudi Arabian state following the consolidation of Hejaz and Nejd. The obverse displays Arabic inscriptions identifying the issuing authority, while the reverse bears additional inscriptions and denominational markings typical of early Saudi coinage. The piece exhibits moderate wear consistent with circulation use during the early 20th century.
